Sturdy and easy to use

Purchased the 10” M18 chop saw and had to get the stand to go with it. Both together make short work of any repetitive cutting task. I like the spring loaded attachment handles holding the saw to the stand. A quick squeeze and you can slide the saw either way or remove the saw for transport or storage. The built-in work piece supports make it easy to support lumber while making your cuts. All in all, a very good addition to the job site. But... I would have liked to have had the hardware for securing the saw to the mounting brackets and for securing the piece supports to the slides included. Support bolts were easy to find; not so sure about the piece support hardware.

I would not recommend or buy again

This stand is horrible. I had a cheap cobalt stand from Lowes that was way better. Biggest flaw is the extension supports. They continually come loose no matter how tight you get them. They wobble and are just flimsy. The height adjustment for the supports is a joke. Such a pain to adjust and don't stay in place no matter how tight the wing nut is turned. Also what about some wheels. This is a heavy saw and when I needed to move it around It would be much easier to roll then carry. Come on Milwaukee I own many of your tools, and never second guess when choosing a manufacture. I just go straight for Milwaukee. My Mistake on this purchase. Did you even try using this stand before you actually decided it was ok to send to market. This stand needs a major over haul on design.

Very Heavy Duty

Great stand that's not too heavy and has many adjustments for setting up just about anywhere and cutting any material. Lost 1 star because it plainly states that a carrying strap is included in the box however it's not in the box. I hope Milwaukee Tool can make this right and send me a strap it's just as heavy as the saw is and a carrying strap would make this a 5 star product.

Yet to be impressed

Bought this stand and a new 12” compound miter saw. Setting up the stand one of the steel spring clips for the saw mounts snapped first time I squeezed the handle. Not impressed here although the stand itself seems great but what would I know. I can’t use it. What does not impress me is that Milwaukee customer service or online contacts goes straight to a black hole. Zero, nadda, nothing no response. This is not the first time I’ve tried to contact support. If you’re not going to use then get it off your website. I’ve spent over $2500 converting my system to M18 and Packout. I’m not sure why. Is it a good stand sorry I wouldn’t know but it’s useless right now !! So is the saw!!!!
Second issue is with the base or shoe for a new 3” cut off saw. Saw is great but can’t and never used the base it’s cracked top to bottom. No response from Milwaukee support, none, nadda, nothing !!

Seems solid with one flaw.

This is my first try at a stand and it seems pretty strong and stable. However, I do need help with one thing: the end caps that support long boards did not come with fastening nuts or bolts and I’ve had to use wire to secure them to the stand. Can Milwaukee send me proper fasteners and in the future install a permanent nut to bolt the unit to the stand. Other ideas?
