Does not last long

I feel bad writing this, cause I love Milwaukee tools. However I bought one of these batteries last summer and it's already having a hard time keeping a charge. It only last about 10 minutes of light use in my impact. I'll have to start reading reviews before purchasing Milwaukee products now.

First day trial

I put this on my smaller reciprocating saw and cut through a PVC pipe, when I let go of the trigger the tool kept running, I pulled the trigger a few more times but it would not stop running. It quit when I pulled the battery. The battery was fully charged before use, but it showed one bar after glitch. When I put it on my charger it emediatly showed fully charged. After that I put it on my 1/2 hammer drill and it worked perfect..

I would opt for a lower capacity battery.

This battery made it through just one use and charge cycle and then failed to charge. Date code shows a 2019 manufacture date. I have been waiting two months for a repair or warranty replacement from the Milwaukee repair center. I won't buy another 48-11-1880 or 48-11-1890 battery until they can increase the reliability and/or the warranty replacement/repair speed.

Solid batteries so far

I own three of these batteries and I haven't had one issue with them so far. It seems like when I use them in my hackzall it will cut forever and my hackzall isn't even FUEL or brushless. The 12.0 battery is too bulky and the 6.0 battery seems to run out of juice too quickly. This 8.0 battery seems to strike a balance between a perfect amount of runtime, battery size, and power it
pushes out. If you have problems with any Milwaukee tool their customer service has always been extremely helpful in my experience.
