Combined two bags I to this one

I use this Tbag for data wiring gear and mounting network racks to walls.

Way to bulky

I have used many service bags in my day. 22 years in the trade and this product has all the features I want and need. It works with the pack out system which is great, has a pocket for my tablet and plenty of storage. The had safety case on the out side is awesome as well. the problem with this back is that it is way to large and I will never use it on a daily bases. It pretty much is only going to be used as a replacement for my bucket that held all my extra tools. If I would had seen this in person I would not have purchased it. Would be a great option if it was half its size or maybe 3/4. This bag is too big for every day service calls. Unfortunately I bought three and none of my others techs even want to use them do to size.

Good Bag for the Buck

I use the tech bag on a daily basis. The outer zipper pocket is large enough to hold all of my putty knives, chisels, punches, and hex key sets. I bought it primarily because of the molded outer side pocket to hold my multimeter and safety glasses, which it does just fine and hasn't been crushed yet. The large inner pocket does is good sized, holding all of my screwdrivers, pliers, and a few adjustable wrenches. It's large enough to hold a drill, impact, and charger, but it gets a bit uncomfortable to carry longer distances with only the one shoulder strap when completely loaded down - I normally leave my drill set in it's case. Material is definitely high quality and has held up to moderate abuse.

The only complaint I have is that with the front pocket loaded without the main compartment fully loaded the bag will tip over. Usually the elastic webbing holds all of my tools in place, unless it tips and then rolls down the stairs.

Overall, a good bag (most reviews have been for the backpack - this is for the Tech Bag) and I would buy it again.

Great idea but could be done better

I’m giving 4 stars because I’m a huge fan of the PACKOUT system itself and this bag integrates well into my loadout. I would have given the bag 3 stars if it weren’t part of the packout system. I work as in maintenance at a Distillery and need to have a lot of different tools and storage solutions. Packout has been key to getting the right tools organized and to the various jobs in the Distillery. I got this bag to replace my Husky Tech Bag and am impressed with the build quality, but the placement of the pockets and seemingly wasted space on the “walls” of the main compartment(filled with elastic straps which cannot hold much) seems like the bag is trying to do too much, while not having enough room/ pockets for small hand tools. The outside pocket is perfect, but the large main pocket could be much more effective in its organization. I understand that this “wasted space” is meant to be used for a drill/driver, but if I need my drill I usually just carry my drill or bring my packout set. All in all, it’s a good bag and it’s still very helpful, but it doesn’t seem as intuitive as it could be. I would buy again and recommend, but I believe Milwaukee can specialize this bag more.
