Bought an individual one to core holes for yellow anchors mounting one hole straps to support electrical conduit. Tile was a stone type at 1/4 in. thick. Tried two other drill bits previously that were supposedly made to handle the material, including a Ryobi one, both just scratched the surface. Almost started sweating about how to pull it off mounting for a run of conduit, but thankfully good old plan C worked. Used it on bathroom and kitchen ceramic tile later to mount a shower curtain rod and tidy up the meh job the tile guy did around a couple of receptacle boxes for access. Consider it as plan A instead of C. A little pricey and doesn't last forever (so a two pack makes sense), but made my life waaay easier at the time.
